What is the Stamp 1G Visa?
The Stamp 1G is Ireland's Third Level Graduate Programme visa. It allows non-EEA students who have graduated from an Irish higher education institution to remain in Ireland to look for employment or apply for a Green Card/Work Permit.
How much money do I need for my Irish Student Visa?
As of 2024, the Irish government increased the financial requirement for Non-EEA students. You must now prove you have €10,000 for living expenses per year of study, PLUS you must be able to pay your full first-year tuition fees.
Can my spouse work on my Stamp 1G visa?
No. Unlike some other countries, a Stamp 1G granted under the Third Level Graduate Programme does not give your spouse or partner the automatic right to work in Ireland.
What does NFQ Level mean?
NFQ stands for the National Framework of Qualifications. In Ireland, a Level 8 is an Honours Bachelor's Degree, Level 9 is a Master's Degree or Postgraduate Diploma, and Level 10 is a Doctoral Degree (PhD).
