What is the UK Global Talent Visa (Tech Nation)?

The Global Talent Visa is an elite, unsponsored UK visa for leaders or potential leaders in academia, arts, and digital technology. Tech Nation is the endorsing body for digital technology applicants.

What is the difference between Exceptional Talent and Exceptional Promise?

Exceptional Talent is for established leaders who have already made a significant impact (usually >5 years of experience). Exceptional Promise is for emerging leaders (usually <5 years of experience) who show the potential to become established leaders.

How many criteria do I need to meet?

You must meet exactly ONE Mandatory criteria (proving you are a recognized leader or potential leader) and exactly TWO out of the four Optional criteria. You must prove this using a maximum of 10 documents.

Do I need a job offer?

No! The Global Talent Visa gives you full freedom. You do not need a job offer to apply, and once granted, you can work for an employer, change jobs, or start your own company without notifying the Home Office.
