SGPA = Sum of (Grade Points × Credits for each course) ÷ Total Credits registered in that semester. Amity follows a 10-point grading system.
Amity uses a direct multiplier where Percentage = CGPA × 10. For example, a 7.5 CGPA equals 75%.
A CGPA of 8.0+ is considered excellent. 7.0-7.9 is very good. Most top placements require a minimum of 7.0 or 7.5 CGPA.
Amity generally uses relative grading where your grade depends on the performance of the class, meaning cutoffs for A+ or A can vary.
An F grade means failure. You will need to appear for supplementary exams or re-register for the course to clear the backlog and improve your CGPA.
